I've been tagged!! :)

My friend Kenzie was tagged and has now passed it on to me,(ok it was like a month ago but at least im still doing it right?) it was really fun to read her list... so here you go kenz. Here are 6 quirks about myself: (enjoy)





1. I have a love/hate relationship with exersice.. i love to workout but hate getting out of bed to go and hate feeling sore..

2. I love to sing really loud in the car and in the house when i am by myself. I actually have some pretty sweet dance moves to go along with some of the songs. (its probably looks alot like p.s. i love you, when she is dancing in the suspenders.) it is pretty pathetic actually.


3. I love competition. Sometimes i even get a little carried away in board games. I have learned to control it more than when i was growing up... i am just really a sore loser. I really would much rather win... or not play at all.


4. I have an obsession with bargin shopping...most of the time it isnt even for myself if i see something cute on sale i have to get it... its mostly ends up being for nieces, nephews, and Dayton. ok i mostly just really like to shop!!




5. I am terrible at making desicions...it drives Dain crazy, but when i say i dont care i just really dont care either way.. although even at resturants i sit there forever trying to decide what would be better... Dain is is always like is it that big of a deal what you are going to eat..

6.I really am addicted to chocolate. the most i can usually go is about 3 days and that is really pushing it.. as long as i can just eat a little it calms my carving but i really and truley do not think that i could live without it.

Motherhood...

I recently read this quote and i love it. I realized how blessed i am to have the oppurtunity to be a mom and stay home with Dayton. He learns and grows so much each day. I love all of his wet kisses. I love when he plays with my hair even though he just played in the dirt. I love the way he smiles at me and laughs at me. (He totally thinks i rock.) I love when he snuggles. I love his butterfly kisses. I love singing him to sleep in the rocking chair. I love when he grabs both of my checks with two hands to show me something. But most of all i love that he loves me.

Bear Lake Brawl ' 08

We finished!!! :)
Saturday, we went to Bear Lake and competed, well i don't know if competed is the right word but we participated in the Bear lake Brawl relay triathlon. Dain started us out with a 3/4 mile swim, Melissa bike 12.1 miles and i ran a 5k. It was fun to compete together for once and to get in shape for something. I don't even know where we ended up at the finish, we just finished. :) A highlight of my trip, as i waited for Melissa to finish biking to start my run, i watched a man who had swam with a small boat attached carrying his handicap son, he had also biked with a trailer carry this precious boy, and then finished pushing him in a stroller. As they crossed the finish line he announced their names... i cannot remember the names but he said his name and his best friend and said the sons name. I was a little embarrassed when i started to cry but this man was such an example to me. What a wonderful dad to carry his son the entire way because this son wanted to participate. It just reminds me that there are truly amazing people wherever I go.
